October because of the weather. We are dedicated to making our
competitions affordable and we function as a 501(c)6 with all proceeds

To make it fun for everyone, District 9 is divided into ability
divisions. We believe that the rider/mount combination should compete
against riders/mounts with similar abilities. In this way, slower and
beginner gymkhana riders/horses ride against beginners, intermediate
against intermediate and so on. Divisions are divided according to
speed.

We wish to ensure that our youngest pony riders have the opportunity to
feel successful at our shows. Therefore, we have replaced our Open
Pony division with a FC Pony division designed to encourage these
riders. Pony riders (who sign up in FC Pony) whose times fall in
the A PONY or above divisions (according to the CGA matrix) for all of
the first three events will be moved to the corresponding Horse division
by show management. If a rider stays in the FC Pony division after
the first three events, but then runs faster than FC Pony times, those
times will not count in any division, horse or pony, at the district
level. This will not affect any CGA State award signups. If
you have signed up for State Year End Awards as a pony, your times will
automatically be converted to pony times at the State level. This
also does not affect any State Show ratings.

up in the horse divisions. The FC Horse Division corresponds
closely to the A Pony times. The A Horse Division corresponds
